The goal of psychotherapy is to facilitate positive change in clients seeking better emotional and social functioning to improve their feelings of satisfaction and the overall quality of their lives. Psychotherapy helps clients live happier, healthier, and more productive lives.

Micaela is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a recent graduate of Tyndale University. Micaela demonstrates compassion, warmth, and non-judgment when connecting with others to support them in their healing journey. Micaela is passionate about working with youth and young adults as they experience life’s challenges. She has worked with those experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, challenging family dynamics, and exploring identity. She supports clients in processing their emotions, identifying themes, and exploring thought patterns. Using an integrative approach, Micaela grounds her practice in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She also includes components of Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to best support her clients’ unique needs.
